Since the pandemic began, Arcomusical has been meeting regularly with five talented doctoral candidate composers from the University of California-Davis to develop exciting new works for our ensemble. Sarah Wald, Joseph Paterson, Jacob Lane, Paul Engle, and Orkun Akyol are each pursuing unique and compelling pathways for their creative works, and we are thrilled to share them with the world!
As a special treat we will also present a short work by Juan Diego Diaz, UC-Davis professor of ethnomusicology and noted capoeira practitioner and scholar.
